Skin Care Products Made With a Conscience

Hawaiian Bath & Body is a small-batch soap maker in the sleepy town of Waialua, on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. They believe in creating natural skin care products that are gentle on the skin and safe for the  environment.

Owner and general manager Debora Driscoll is a passionate health and environmental advocate who exudes warmth and mindfulness. She has been a Clean the World champion for several years, and contacted us in 2014 wondering how we could work together. That conversation led to discussions about partnership opportunities.

Now Hawaiian Bath & Body is an official Clean the World partner. Their generous donation supports our ongoing mission to prevent millions of hygiene-related deaths each year, reduce the morbidity rate for hygiene-related illnesses, and encourage vigorous childhood development.

Hawaiian Bath & Body first popped up on our radar in 2012 when we were scrambling to send Clean the World hygiene kits to victims of Hurricane Sandy in the Northeast United States. Debora made an online donation to sponsor 250 kits, and included this nice message: “Much mahalo for all you do! You are the only organization I trust when it comes to relief efforts. Peace and aloha – Debora at North Shore Soap Factory.”

We are extremely grateful for those kind words, and the support from Hawaiian Bath & Body. If you travel to Oahu, please visit their store and make time for the factory tour.

About Hawaiian Bath & Body

Hawaiian Bath & Body is a natural, made-in-Hawaii, skin care line including body wash, aromatherapy body mists and bath salts, bath oils, lip balms, lotions, and scrubs. Operating in the North Shore Soap Factory in the historic Waialua sugar mill on the north shore of O`ahu, owners Debora and Jerry Driscoll started making their products in 1996. Handcrafted, one batch at a time, each product features island-grown ingredients such as Hawaiian kukui and macadamia nut oils, honey, papaya, tangerines, coffee and guava. Many products also feature organic ingredients such as organic oatmeal, rice flour, blue cornmeal and organic spices. All products use natural preservatives such as vitamin E and grapefruit seed extract. They use no detergents or petro-chemicals.  The end result is a balancing skin care line which is excellent for all skin types. Please visit the Hawaiian Bath & Body website to learn more.
