Disney Cruise Line Continues Recovery Efforts in The Bahamas By Teaming Up With Disaster Relief Agencies

“Previously, we brought you the news that Disney Cruise Line had committed to more than $1 million in cash and in-kind support to help Hurricane Dorian relief and recovery efforts in The Bahamas. As part of that initiative, Disney announced it has teamed up with three leading disaster relief and recovery organizations. These organizations include the American Red Cross, the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) and All Hands and Hearts.”

“We know the road to recovery is long and difficult for many people in The Bahamas, and we remain committed to helping them put their lives back together,” said Jeff Vahle, president of Disney Cruise Line. “From providing food and supplies, to supporting children and rebuilding schools, the collective efforts of these agencies should bring much-needed relief to our friends and neighbors in the islands.” …
