Team building to make an Impact

Help us get viral by sharing this post

There has been a shift in the way businesses operate. Companies are more focused on a collaborative workplace instead a competitive environment–the objective is strength in numbers, right? This is where teambuilding activities, essential to a company and its employees, come into place. There are many benefits to hosting teambuilding activities in the workplace. To start, it brings your employees together. In addition to unifying the workplace, it improves productivity, encourages creativity and improves communication, in turn, boosting morale. “Enjoyable, fun activities enable employees to get to know each other, create a better understanding of each other and break down walls of mistrust by encouraging people to focus on what they have in common rather than their differences.” (blog.sodexoengage.com)

Many of companies are looking to be socially conscious and grow their impact. This is where Clean the World comes in! Clean the World offers a unique and engaging team building experience. Hygiene kit building events are a positive and uplifting activity that allow you to support your local community while fulfilling your CSR goals.

“PM Management Group hosted a hygiene kit build in Dallas, TX. Some of their properties are currently participating in the Clean the World recycling program but several of them have never heard of us and were excited to learn more about what we do. They were ecstatic to do the build along with knowing where their donated products were actually going!”

As shown in the video above, a hygiene kit features a portable recyclable bag consisting of two bars of new soap, bottles of repurposed shampoo and conditioner, a bottle of lotion, a toothbrush and toothpaste, a razor, a washcloth along with an inspirational notecard. Clean the World takes in all the discarded soap and bottled hygiene amenities from hotels all around the world to be able to assemble these kits. Hygiene kits support the local community benefiting individuals that may not have the financial means to otherwise obtain these hygiene amenities.

In recent years, employers have been searching for ways to keep millennials engaged and attract, hire and retain them successfully. As of 2018, millennials are becoming more philanthropic and want to be more involved in the community for a greater cause and to make a difference. According to a 2015 Cone Communications Millennial CSR Study, “more than 9-in-10 millennials would switch brands to one associated with a cause.”

Companies such as Microsoft, United Airlines, Marriott as well as Hilton have hosted hygiene kit builds, assembling as little as 100 hygiene kits to as many as 60,000 kits! Hilton currently holds the record of building 60,000 hygiene kits in less than an hour in the same location, in no other than San Diego. Organize a hygiene kit build with Clean the World and give the gift of hygiene to individuals in need. Corporate Social Responsibility is paving a way sustainable solution leaving hope in your hands.
