Throughout this year, Clean the World is honored to have joined multiple Marriott International business councils. By the end of this week, we will have proudly participated in 14 different councils, spanning coast to coast from Miami, FL, to Seattle, Washington! Being invited to these business councils means a lot for our growing partnership with Marriott International. So, we are thankful for the opportunity to promote sustainability and impact with such a great partner.

Aligning on Sustainability Goals

Our collaboration with Marriott International at these business council meetings has led to remarkable outcomes. Many individual hotels within the network have gone on to fully embrace our Global Hospitality Recycling Program, which perfectly aligns with Marriott International’s Serve360 initiative—their pledge to create a positive impact wherever they operate. Through the dedication and recycling efforts of these hotels, they have diverted thousands of pounds of soap and plastic bottled amenities from landfills.

“Marriott’s goal to do good in every direction is exemplified through the leaders we meet at their business council meetings,” states Robert Montgomery, VP of Hospitality Products at Clean the World. “Being able to align on how we can team up to nurture our world and reduce our environmental impact through our recycling program is what makes our partnership so special.”

Looking Ahead

We are grateful to continue this journey of sustainability and impact with Marriott International. We look forward to the potential to make an even greater impact with the upcoming Marriott International business councils.

Thank you, Marriott International, for your unwavering support and partnership. Together, we are making the world a better place.
