Clean the World launches new Veteran Hygiene Kits and a social media contest to honor heroes

ORLANDO, Fla. – (Mar 31, 2017) – Clean the World is launching new Veteran Hygiene Kits to save the lives of our heroes. These life-saving Hygiene Kits include hygiene products from our global mission, along with important protective items, too.

The kits feature resealable plastic bags, two bars of repurposed soap, bottles of repurposed shampoo, conditioner and body wash, toothbrushes and toothpaste, wash cloths, shaving cream, socks, earplugs, mouthwash, Neosporin, hand sanitizer, insect repellent, deodorant, sunscreen, an eye mask, and inspirational note cards. It’s because of the dedication to country and its people, Clean the World is proud to present its Veteran-themed Hygiene Kit.

“QUOTE FROM SHAWN HERE“

There is an indefinite need for veterans to receive these necessary hygiene products. According to The National Coalition for Homeless Veterans, The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development estimates that 39,471 veterans are homeless on any given night. Unfortunately, the extreme shortage of everyday essentials such as soap, leaves these veterans at risk for health-related diseases. Our hygiene kits are meant to prevent such diseases, lift their spirits, and ease the burden of homelessness.

In honor of the Veteran Hygiene Kit release, Clean the World is hosting a social media photo contest. The first-place winner will receive 100 Veteran Hygiene Kits to donate to a local charity of their choice. The month-long photo contest will begin on April 1 and run until April 30, 2017. For more information on the contest and how to get involved, visit Clean the World’s social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
