Announcing New Partnership With Hawaiian Bath & Body

Help us get viral by sharing this post

Independent filmmakers and bands make make great art with a limited budget. A lot of amazing Web and mobile apps come from small start-ups. And in the same vein, small-batch soap makers create exceptional products using natural ingredients and sustainable production practices.

We have had the pleasure of meeting many of these manufacturers – and one of our favorites is Hawaiian Bath & Body. The company is located in the sleepy town of Waialua on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. They believe in creating natural skin care products that are gentle on the skin and safe for the  environment.

Owner and general manager Debora Driscoll is a passionate health and environmental advocate who exudes warmth and mindfulness. She has been a Clean the World champion for several years, and contacted us late last year wondering how we could work together. That conversation led to discussions about partnership opportunities.

Now we are excited to announce that Hawaiian Bath & Body is an official Clean the World partner. Their generous donation supports our ongoing mission to prevent millions of hygiene-related deaths each year, reduce the morbidity rate for hygiene-related illnesses, and encourage vigorous childhood development.

Hawaiian Bath & Body first popped up on our radar in 2012 when we were scrambling to send ONE Project hygiene kits to victims of Hurricane Sandy in the Northeast United States. Debora made an online donation to sponsor 250 kits, and included this nice message: “Much mahalo for all you do! You are the only organization I trust when it comes to relief efforts. Peace and aloha – Debora at North Shore Soap Factory.”

We are extremely grateful for those kind words, and the support from Hawaiian Bath & Body. If you visit Oahu, please visit their store and make time for the factory tour.

Aloha and Mahalo.
