Summary: Sales of Clearly Natural soaps will directly benefit the lifesaving mission of Clean the World to recycle soap and save lives in disadvantaged communities worldwide

Clean the World and Clearly Natural, a Beaumont Products Inc., soap brand, have teamed for an easy way to improve personal hygiene and help protect our planet. Now, by simply buying your favorite Clearly Natural soaps you can join the global hygiene revolution to save lives with soap.

Through a licensing partnership agreement announced in time for the upcoming March 8-11 Natural Products Expo West 2012 in Anaheim, Calif., sales of soaps under the Clearly Natural brand, as well as the specialized Sonoma Soap Company brand, will advance sustainability and social responsibility among customers and within communities around the world.

Clean the World, a social enterprise based in Orlando, Fla., is committed to saving lives with soap by collecting, recycling and distributing hotel guest room amenities to children and families in the United States, Canada, and more than 45 countries.

Select products within both Clearly Natural and Sonoma Soap Company brands will feature the Clean the World logo on the packaging. Proceeds from the sale of these products along with donations of soap will support Clean the World’s efforts to aid children and families in disadvantaged communities worldwide who struggle with access to proper hygiene products.

“The partnership with Clearly Natural adds another essential element to our ever-growing global hygiene revolution,” says Shawn Seipler, CEO and co-founder at Clean the World. “By introducing our Clean the World-branded soaps in a retail setting and encouraging sales to benefit our soap distribution efforts, we are raising the bar on social awareness and personal hygiene, and promoting positive ways to achieve a cleaner, healthier world.”

These personal care products are sold at a number of retail locations nationwide, including Whole Foods Market, Sprouts, Meijer, Safeway and Publix, and range in price from $1.89 to $9.99.

“This is an opportunity for our Clearly Natural and Sonoma Soap brands to heighten our commitment to an improved environment and embrace the concept of recycling soap to save lives,” says Jeff Picken, president and COO of Beaumont Products. “We believe in and support Clean the World’s mission to stop the spread of diseases with soap, and having that logo on our brands should boost awareness of their mission.”

Clean the World is the largest global recycler of hotel amenities with more than 1,300 hospitality partners throughout North America, including Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, Caesars Entertainment, and The Walt Disney World Resorts.

By placing more recycled soap in the hands of people who need it most, Clean the World recently achieved a major milestone with the distribution of more than 10 million soap bars in just three years of operation, while also fulfilling a valuable environmental mission by diverting an estimated 600 tons of hotel waste from polluting landfills in the United States and Canada.

Recently, Clean the World, through a network of global distribution partners, delivered recycled soaps to Ethiopia, Ghana, Haiti, Honduras, and Kenya in addition to frequent domestic distributions to children and families at homeless shelters, women’s shelters, and missions. The soaps are often packaged as part of sustainable hygiene kits, which include recycled bottled amenities (shampoos, conditioners, body washes, lotions and gels) collected from Clean the World hotel partners throughout North America.
