Clean the World was thrilled to once again be part of the ESG Hub at this year’s Independent Hotel Show London!
Our UK & Europe team, led by Tommie and Austin, joined forces with Sarah Duncan (author of The Sustainable Business Book), Grace Greensitt from the Global Sustainability Index, and Mark Glenister from The Burnt Chef Project to dive deep into hospitality’s role in sustainability.
The standout feature this year? The Sustainability in Action Wall, where attendees shared their biggest sustainability challenges—from waste management to eco-friendly packaging, Scope 3 emissions, and more.
Austin Eaton, Head of Marketing for Clean the World Europe & UK, noted:
“Compared to last year, there was greater interest from attendees, eager to share their hurdles with sustainability. We gained fantastic insights, and one key takeaway was the importance of turning words into action.”
The excitement and commitment from hoteliers showed that the industry is ready for change but needs support in making sustainability a core part of their operations. 🌱
We’re committed to helping hotels on this journey, and in the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing the insights we gathered from the event. Stay tuned!
A special thanks to Sarah Duncan, Grace Greensitt, and Mark Glenister for their incredible efforts in making this event a success. Together, we can make a real difference.
