Clean the World recognised as a finalist in two categories at the National Sustainability Awards 2025 for its hospitality recycling program and Austin Eaton’s leadership in sustainable hospitality.
Clean the World is proud to have been recognised as a finalist in two categories at the prestigious National Sustainability Awards 2025. Although we did not secure the award this year, being shortlisted alongside leading organisations such as NatWest, KPMG, DPD, Lloyds Bank, and Octopus Energy reflects the growing importance of circularity and sustainability in hospitality
Finalist Categories
- Circular and Recycling Program Award – Clean the World’s Global Hospitality Recycling Program
- Rising Star Award – Austin Eaton, Head of Marketing for Clean the World and CTW Events Europe & UK
Recognising Circular Innovation
Our Global Hospitality Recycling Program continues to set benchmarks for the industry, diverting over 13 million kilograms of hotel waste since 2009 and producing more than 90 million bars of recycled soap distributed to communities worldwide. By recycling both soap and plastic amenities, Clean the World supports hotels in achieving sustainability targets and contributes directly to the circular economy.
Celebrating Emerging Leaders
We were also delighted to see Austin Eaton recognised as a finalist in the Rising Star category for his contributions to expanding Clean the World’s presence in the UK and Europe. His work has supported the development of sustainability resources for hoteliers and wellbeing initiatives through CTW Events, helping to embed sustainability and impact within the hospitality and events sector.
Why This Matters
The National Sustainability Awards, now in their fifth year, shine a spotlight on organisations across the UK that are embedding sustainability into their operations. To stand alongside industry leaders highlights the collective progress being made towards a more sustainable future.
