Through this initiative, over 12 million kilograms of waste have been diverted from landfills, more than 85 million bars of soap have been distributed to communities in need across 127 countries, and carbon emissions have been reduced by over 10 million kilograms of CO2e.

One standout partner is the Lefay Resort Dolomiti in Italy, which joined the program at the end of 2021. This 88-room hotel participates in Clean the World’s soap-only recycling program and has already made a significant difference:

• 216 kg of soap collected
• 4,353 bars of soap distributed
• 295 kg of CO2e emissions reduced
• 6,001 liters of water saved compared to new soap production
