Soap Destinations Include Nicaragua and Tanzania

After soap and bottled amenities are recycled by Clean the World, our hard-working front-line partners take over and distribute the products throughout the United States and around the world. Here is an overview of organizations involved with distribution this summer.

Feeding America is the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief charity, providing food to more than 37 million Americans each year. 108,000 bars of soap.

Fresh Start Ministries began helping Central Florida men in 1986. The group’s programs assist people whose lives have been scarred by crime, abuse, and addiction. 200 bars of soap, 200 shampoo, 200 lotion.

Ambassador to the Nations is an international missions ministry based at Freedom Christian Center in Charlotte, NC. The focus of their missionary work is on meeting the physical and spiritual needs of the poorest communities in Central America, North America and Cuba through short-term mission projects. 5,000 bars of soap and 5,000 bottles of amenities to be distributed in Nicaragua.

Opportunity House and its on-site childcare center offer services that promote self-sufficiency to people in need in Reading, Penn. 900 bars of soap, 900 shampoo, 900 lotion, 900 conditioner.


Latin American Ministries Bridge, Inc. provides various religious and charitable services to those in need, including but not limited to rebuilding existing churches and building new churches. 500 bars of soap, 500 shampoo,500 body gel, 500 lotion, 500 conditioner.

Back to School is Cool ensures that underprivileged students in Lake County, Fla., attend school with pride. They provide uniforms, clothing, school supplies, backpacks, outerwear, shoes, toiletries, undergarments, socks, caps and gowns, and prom attire, free of charge. 400 hygiene kits: 400 bars of soap, 400 shampoo,400 body gel, 400 lotion, 400 conditioner.

Adriana’s Attic Inc. is an outreach project to help the homeless in Central Florida. 200 lotion.

Bethel Missionary Baptist Church will distribute hygiene products to children during a summer mission trip to Pignon, Haiti. 250 bars of soap, 250 shampoo, 250 lotion.

Community Rehabilitation Center helps promote the mental, physical and emotional well-being of individuals and families in northeast Florida by providing easily accessible, culturally competent, quality-based clinical services. 5,000 bars of soap, 3,000 shampoo, 3,000 lotion.

Agape Word Church is an outreach project that helps the homeless in Central Florida. 180 hygiene kits.

Green Development Coalition Las Vegas was founded in 2009 by University of Nevada, Las Vegas students who envision a healthier human impact on the world. 100 bars of soap to Tanzania.

Faith Neighbor Center provides support to needy families and individuals across South Lake County, Florida. 2,000 bars of soap, 2,000 shampoo.
